Play the Hero in Ubisoft's Exit
In Exit you play as Mr ESC, who publisher Ubisoft describes as a "master escapologist".
Being a hero in real life is hard work, but those of us not willing to sacrifice our lives for the greater good can at least pretend to do the noble thing in Taito's new puzzle-slash-action PSP game, Exit.
In Exit you play as Mr ESC, who publisher Ubisoft describes as a "master escapologist". Using this most unlikely of gifts, you're tasked with rescuing people trapped in burning buildings, earthquake wreckage, exploded factories and other assorted calamitous situations.
The people you save aren't just victims. In a delicious nod to the human spirit, Exit sees the victims return the favour by helping you through precarious situations or simply by helping other stranded people.
Like most PSP games, Exit does have some perfunctory elements thrown in that at least try to take advantage of the portable's extended functionality. The 100-strong roster of emergencies in Exit will be supplemented by others that you can download straight from Ubisoft.
Exit will be out only for PSP in February 2006.
