Top Spin Lobbed Onto Xbox 360
The popular ex-Microsoft tennis series is prepped for its next-gen debut later this year. New screens.
Soon after the Xbox launched, there were heaps of praise for Microsoft's in-house tennis game, Top Spin. Microsoft may have sold the series since then, but it's still looking strong and it's set for its next-gen debut later this year.
Top Spin 2 does everything its predecessor did, only better. There are more stadiums, more pro players, there's better sound and, of course, the graphics have been boosted to give a high-definition experience.
Most of the pros from Top Spin are back and there are a few new faces too; you'll be able to play with Roger Federer, Venus Williams, Maria Sharapova and more than 20 other top players.
Not interested in playing with Sharapova? Why not tackle the Digital Identity character customisation tool instead. This allows you to fiddle with every part of your player's appearance before you take it on a world-spanning tour. Of course, this being a 360 title, there are also the obligatory online modes to keep you busy.
Top Spin 2 is expected to be out for Xbox 360 this spring.
