Dead or Alive Next-Gen Debut Dated
Team Ninja may have been forced to keep its titillating game under wraps for a while longer, but it's ready to bounce onto Xbox 360's now. Boobs.
The launch of the original Xbox saw Tecmo's Dead or Alive fighting series make a big splash and it was supposed to be the same for the Xbox 360, but the developers at Team Ninja decided that they needed to hold it back to get it shining. That wait is now over.
Come the end of January, you'll be flexing and bouncing when Dead or Alive 4 finally makes its debut on Microsoft's next-gen system. Team Ninja has been using its time to make sure it got the fetching cast of the game looking and moving as good as possible.
Of course, there's more to Dead or Alive than just the voluptuous visuals. Team Ninja have gone in and reworked the fighting system, creating a new countering system and tightening the attacking play.
While fighting games live and die by their mechanics, Team Ninja has tried to prolong the game's shelf life with hidden characters and unlockable costumes. And then there's the online play that lets you fight for domination of the global rankings.
