Metal Gear Solid Goes Static on PSP
People were quite excited when Kojima said that he was bringing Metal Gear Solid to PSP. Let's see if they're still excited after seeing this. First comic-stained themes.
Metal Gear fans frustrated by the radical departure of Metal Gear Ac!d were overjoyed to hear that creator Hideo Kojima was taking the series back to its Metal Gear Solid roots. The next offering in the series is probably not what most were expecting.
Metal Gear Solid: Digital Comic is basically a 3D-enhanced quasi-interactive comic that retells the story of the original Metal Gear Solid. Instead of fully static images, you'll be able to scan scenes, which, as Konami puts it, will provide an element of replayability.
Whether or not you want to call it a game, you will find oodles of information here, so much so that Konami is calling it a Metal Gear Solid Bible for fans.
There's no firm release date yet, but you can expect Metal Gear Solid Digital Comic to hit later this year.
