Driver: Parallel Lines: New Footage
Trendy trailer and some other new media.
Here's a nice trailer and a bunch of new screens from Atari's Driver: Parallel Lines.
Driver: Parallel Lines turns back the clock, casting you as a teenager in the age of free love in an accurately recreated New York of the 1970s. The location shift is a welcome change from the world-hopping antics of Driver 3, but more notable is the renewed focus on driving.
Driver 3's downplaying of the series' driving elements in favour of on-foot sections drew much of the critical backlash, no doubt prompting developer Reflections' return to the series' roots.
Atari has yet to commit to a release date. There doesn't seem to be anything in place for next-gen consoles either, as early information suggests that Driver: Parallel Lines will be out only for Xbox and PlayStation 2.
Stay tuned for more on Driver: Parallel Lines.
