Syphon Filter Infiltrates the PSP
That other super-spy is back to see if he can regain his crown. First PSP screens.
Gabe Logan may have been supplanted by Splinter Cell's Sam Fisher, but Sony is out to prove that there's life in the Syphon Filter series yet. You'll soon be able to put Gabe through his paces again, but this time in a more portable format.
Gabe's first handheld outing, Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror for PSP, is a mission-based affair that builds on the happenings in his previous PlayStation 2 game, Syphon Filter: Omega Strain. As a member of the blackest-of-the-black ops team, you must infiltrate an underground network bent on global destruction.
In addition to the 23 singleplayer missions (which feature new weapons, gadgets and AI, difficulty levels that change on the fly and an overhauled graphics engine), you'll also be able to fight it out on the 5 expansive online maps.
See if the Syphon Filter can regain its lustre when Syphon Filter: Dark Mirror hits the PSP this summer.
