Turtles Prepare for Spring Attack
Eighties cartoon favourites return as Turtle Power finds itself on the up again. New screens.
Back in the day they were known as the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles, but the pizza-loving ninjas are back and Konami has revealed how it'll be doing its share to return the gang to power with a brand new game.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare sees our four lovable heroes take on a new enemy in the Triceratons - an alien race bent of kidnapping a scientist friend of the turtles. It's not all new, though, and you'll be running into all the main characters from the show.
Story mode is the main (and initially only) part of the game. It spans three episodes and 60 missions and allows for a full repertoire of butt kicking. As you make it through story mode you'll unlock other modes to go back to. You'll even be able to unlock the popular original arcade game.
The four lead characters each bring unique weapons and skills to the varied gameplay, which flits between genres the deeper you get. Combat is still central to the experience, though, and characters can learn special moves after they've defeated enough enemies.
Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 3: Mutant Nightmare will be out for Xbox and PlayStation 2 this April.
