LocoRoco Rolls Smiles Onto PSP
Adorable orange jelly will soon take over your PSP, whether you like it or not. But really, you should. Check out these first screens.
Many hurl abuse at the PSP, calling it simply a home for ports of games already on consoles, but some developers are challenging that image. Witness Sony and its latest creative outing, LocoRoco.
Bright in visuals and light in tone, LocoRoco sees you controlling a smile-inducing orange blob, squeezing it through crannies and cracks while making your way through levels. The game uses a faux tilt mechanism, where you imbalance the game world using the PSP's trigger buttons.
The simplicity of the concept belies the fun and addictiveness of the game. LocoRoco's infectious charm was in full effect at last year's Tokyo Game Show, where it squashed itself into the hearts of all who played.
See what the fuss is about for yourself when the game is release this summer, only for PSP.
