Paintball War for Ghost Recon Fans
Celebrate the impending release of Ubisoft's next-gen shooter by blowing away a part of your friends.
There were umms and coos when Ubisoft delayed its hotly tipped military shooter Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter last year, but now that the release is looming, excitement is on the up again. To celebrate the impending release, Ubisoft is holding a special paintball day where you'll get to give the game an early test run.
The free paintball day will be held at the Skirmish Paintball Centre in High Wycombe, Buckinghamshire, on Monday, 27 February. There you'll fling justice before sitting down with the final version of the game.
Ghost Recon Advance Warfighter is the latest in the Tom Clancy-inspired military team-based shooter. In this latest instalment, the third-person action is set against the backdrop of Mexico City, where you'll have to face up against ne'er-do-wells to thwart their sinister plans to overrun the world.
For more on how you can ring in the game with a free day of paintball, head over to BritXbox.co.uk. Ghost Recon Advanced Warfighter will be out first for Xbox and Xbox 360 on 3 March with the PC and PlayStation 2 versions to follow on 31 March. Look for our latest hands-on impression next week.
