Dynasty Warriors Storm the Xbox 360
The latest incarnation of Koei's warrific series is coming to Xbox 360 and we have the HD screens to prove it.
If one of the big advantages of next-gen hardware is that developers will be able to put a lot more stuff on screen at once, few games will benefit as well as the already frenetic Dynasty Warriors. Fittingly, Koei has revealed that the next instalment is steaming on its way to Xbox 360 later this year.
While it could have brought over the already released Dynasty Warriors 5, Koei is instead picking the more open-ended Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires to bring the popular series to Microsoft's box.
This means you'll have all the trademark fighting that comes with the Dynasty Warriors series, only now there's more of a strategic bent to it as you rally the 25 regions of ancient China through both diplomacy and shows of force.
Naturally, you can expect Dynasty Warriors 5 Empires to look the business on the Xbox 360. It's what Koei calls the most "visually astounding" entry in the venerable series.
Fret not if you've not yet made the jump to the next generation. The Xbox 360 version will be joined by one for PlayStation 2 when it launches this summer.
