Taito Arcade Classics Packed Up
More oldies than you can shake a knobbly stick at. Now get off my lawn.
As games get more complicated, more and more people are longing for the simplicity of older games, which explains the popularity of retro compilations. The latest disc coming to shelves is a handsome example from Taito with 40 more classics coming later this year.
Taito Legends 2 takes care of the lot of the gaps that remained after the first collection, which brought Space Invaders back to consoles. This latest compilation spans 40 games and 25 years, covering the golden age of the arcades and more.
Combine the breadth of titles on offer with the budget price and you've got a collection you might want to take another look at, especially with classics to Elevator Action, Space Invaders, Qix and Rastan on board.
Taito Legends 2 will be out for PC, PlayStation 2 and Xbox on 31 March. Below is a rundown of all the games included:
