THQ Offers Outfit Multiplayer Demo
Now you don't have to wait to get a taste of the World War II shooter's online prowess. Get some.
PC gamers have long benefited from downloadable demos, but as online console gaming matures, console owners are getting some of the same treatment. Witness the new demo for THQ's The Outfit, which you can download right now to try out the game's expansive multiplayer modes.
The demo, available for free on Xbox Live, lets you and up to seven other players go head-to-head on one of the game's multiplayer maps. You can even download the level to your Xbox 360 for split-screen fun with a friend (or an enemy) in the comfort of your living room.
The Outfit is developer Relic's take on the World War II squad-based first-person shooter. The game is already being hailed for its online play. THQ is promising that it will keep this experience fresh by releasing new maps through the Xbox Live Marketplace regularly over the next year.
The Outfit will be available only on Xbox 360 on 14 March in the US and 17 March across Europe. For more on the game, check out its official site.
