Ghost Recon Hits Consoles, PC Delayed
We're not sure if Tom Clancy is a fan of the games that carry his name, but there are surely a lot of happy 360 owners now.
It's been a long time coming, but Ubisoft's eagerly awaited Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter is at last nearing release and it'll start rolling as from 10 March. Well, it will if you're a console gamer, as the company has delayed the PC version for a few months for some final tweaking.
In this latest game, the Ghosts are deployed in Mexico City for a one-location third-person shooting fest. New to the game is a more advanced heads-up display that details all sorts of information from the battlefield.
The game was originally slated for release at the launch of the Xbox 360 last November, but at the last moment Ubisoft delayed it to this year.
You can now look forward to picking up the Xbox 360 version on 10 March, with the current-gen versions for Xbox and PlayStation 2 coming 17 March and 31 March. The now-delayed PC version won't be out until later in May.
