Testers Wanted for WoW Expansion
Considering how many people are playing the game right now, we don't think Blizzard will have any trouble at all finding volunteers.
With 6 million bleary-eyed citizens roaming World of Warcraft's many realms, you can bet that there are more than a few that are interested in giving the upcoming expansion pack a go. Blizzard has revealed that it's going to give some gamers an early look at World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, but only if they're both lucky and skilful.
A spot in the beta testing of World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade is actually a carrot on a stick. What Blizzard wants are as many people as possible to play the upcoming World of Warcraft content update patch on its new test realms.
Three contests will be held on the test realms, which are already live and will be up until the end of March. To qualify for the beta test you'll need to either prove your character building skills or take part in massive battles in the realms. Blizzard is planning to pick around 7,500 of the best players in the test realms to test the expansion later this year.
For more details on exactly how and when you'll need to play if you want to secure your spot in the beta test for World of Warcraft: The Burning Crusade, check out Blizzard's official World of Warcraft site.
