God of War Sequel Skips PS3, Goes to PS2
Bad news for PlayStation 3 fans, good news for fans of slaying things mercilessly.
Not long ago information leaked out of Sony that said the award-winning God of War would be getting a sequel on the PlayStation 2, but the company quickly pounced to deny the reports. It seems Sony's foot stomping was for nought though as the sequel has been confirmed by a US magazine.
God of War star Kratos is the cover star of the latest issue of Game Informer, reports GameSpot. There's little official out there at the moment, but look for the core of the action-heavy game to stay the same.
God of War has been getting more attention lately after picking up a trove of awards at the February's DICE Summit outside Las Vegas. The sequel will probably make a big showing at the Electronic Entertainment Expo, which takes place in Los Angeles in May.
