Micro Machines Returns to the Small Track
The pint-sized racer is being readied for a return to current-gen consoles and handhelds. First screens.
There aren't many driving games where hitting cereal or a ruler is a major pitfall, but Codemasters' Micro Machines titles did it with style. The company has revealed that you'll soon get a chance to take to the miniature tracks again in the latest series update, Micro Machines v4 for current-gen consoles and handhelds.
Just like in the previous hit instalments, Micro Machines V4 offers many vehicle types, all of which handle unique in their Lilliputian worlds. The cars also still have the weapons that made multiplayer so frantic.
But as much fun as the vehicles were, it was the zany tracks that made the previous games stand out, and Codemasters is stretching the concept further this time. In addition to familiar settings such as pool tables, baths and breakfast tables, this time you'll venture into sewers, museums, supermarkets and even farms.
Micro Machines v4 will be out for PlayStation 2, PC, PSP and DS this summer.
