Battlefield 2: Modern Combat - Hot New High-Definition Screens
Fresh visuals for DICE's modern day mayhem master- piece, coming soon to the Xbox 360.
Shooters fans dismayed at the recent delay of Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for Xbox 360 could at least take solace in the game being delayed purely for marketing reasons and not because there's something wrong with it. And with less than a month to go now until the new mid-April release date, EA is shopping around new screens for the in-demand shooter.
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat does what the box says, updating the vehicle-heavy first-person shooter for our violent times. Despite the temporal shift, there's still an emphasis on online play, though the requisite singleplayer mode is still there for you to hone your skills.
The focus of the game is the 24-player multiplayer over Xbox Live, which features new maps based in the Middle East, China and more, bringing the final map count to 16. You play in one of four factions (US, EU, China or the Middle East), each of which has access to an accurate arsenal of modern day weapons and 30+ vehicles for whisking you around the expansive maps.
Battlefield 2: Modern Combat for Xbox 360 will be out for Xbox 360 on 11 April.
