Not many people will admit to not being fascinated by ninjas, so it should come as no surprise that Naruto, a manga and anime series based on ninjas-in-training, has been a monstrous hit in Japan. And with both now spreading outside their home country, Ubisoft is bringing Naruto to the Xbox 360.
Naruto follows the adventures of Uzumaki Naruto and his classmates Sakura and Sasuke as they go through ninja school and learn not only how to eviscerate enemies but also about the meaning of friendship and morals.
This is the first time that Ubisoft will create a game based on a Japanese franchise, but Naruto's creator, Hayato Date, says he has the utmost confidence that the company will make, "an exciting Naruto game, while respecting the anime's spirit of passing on positive values and a lot of fun."
There are no gameplay details yet for Naruto for Xbox 360, but look for that to change soon. The game is set for release in 2007.
