PGR3 Offers New Cars for Cash
Well, not cash per se but rather points, which is just as good as cash, if you know what we mean.
The Xbox Live Marketplace is hotting up, and as more and more games hit the Xbox 360, game makers are getting more comfortable with the idea of selling us stuff over Xbox Live. The latest to join the fray is Microsoft's own Bizarre Creations studio.
Since launch, Project Gotham Racing 3 has been one of the most popular games on the new console, but the line-up of cars is starting to look a little staid. Good news, then, that a dozen new vehicles will be hitting the Xbox Live Marketplace from Monday, 17 April.
The new cars, which include the Ferrari 612 Scaglietti and the Aston Martin VB8 Vanquish, will unfortunately not come free. You'll need to fork over 400 Microsoft Points (which equates to around $5) for the privilege.
You'll get more for your hard-earned points than just an updated stable. The so-called Speed Pack also lets you sign up for the recently announced Project Gotham Racing World Tournament - currently underway. The update also brings "new feature enhancements and fixes", according to Bizarre.
For more information, check out the official Project Gotham Racing 3 site.
