Big Brain Academy Dated - Remember It
Nintendo's Brain Training for the younger set coming next month. New screens.
Making the most of your grey matter isn't something reserved for the aging set, which is why Nintendo is working on a second DS Brain Training game aimed at a younger audience. Already a hit in Japan, Big Brain Academy is now coming west.
Like the hugely successful Dr Kawashima's Brain Training: How Old Is Your Brain?, Big Brain Academy presents logic puzzles that this time "weigh" your brain instead of dating it. The more you play, the more your brain's "weight" will improve.
For example, you'll be asked to choose the heaviest object out of a group or memorize sets of cards to pick out missing ones. All told, there are 15 different mini-games that will let your brain work up a sweat.
As your brain grows, its profile will be matched with a profession or a famous historical figure. You'll even be able to exercise certain areas of your brain to boost your brainpower.
Big Brain Academy will be out only for the DS on 29 May in North America and sometimes this spring in Europe.
