PSP Grand Theft Hitting PS2 in June
If you've yet to pick up the PSP version, you might want to hold off for a while still.
Games that make the transition from PlayStation 2 to PSP are nothing new, but it's not every day that one goes the other way. Perhaps this is the reason why Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories is getting a lot of attention lately. Or it could just be because, despite its origins, it's another full Grand Theft Auto game.
As would befit a game going from a handheld to a home console, Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories will be carrying a budget price when it launches in early June worldwide, Rockstar has revealed.
The developers at the company's Leeds studio crafted Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories from the beginning as a full entry in the series. The story, as the title suggests, takes you back to Liberty City, home to the happenings in Grand Theft Auto III, and gives you a new set of characters to learn to love and hate, taking many more hours of your life away in the process.
The game was released at the PSP's European launch in September and has been a mainstay for the handheld ever since.
Grand Theft Auto: Liberty City Stories will be out at a budget price for PlayStation 2 on 6 June in North America and 9 June across Europe.
