Infernal Damns New Leading Man
Playlogic picks a new protagonist to go along with the PC game's new name. New screens.
Dutch publisher Playlogic is riding the tumultuous wave of game design with its new third-person action game Infernal. Originally unveiled as Diabolique, this PC game now has a new hero to go along with its new moniker.
The company describes its new leading man, Ryan Lennox, as having "devilish powers and hot-headed manners, while never forgetting his coolness". What that means for you is a character better suited to the type of story that developer Metropolis is trying to tell.
The backstory is rooted in the classic struggle between good and evil but the real story here is the technology bringing the game to life. In addition to the high-end graphics, Metropolis is also supporting Ageia's PhysX engine, which translates into a highly realistic game world that reacts to your presence as it should.
Infernal will be out for PC this autumn. For more on the game, check out the Playlogic site.
