The Outfit Jumps a Size on Live
The singleplayer stuff might not have done it for everyone, but THQ is bumping the online experience for those still sticking it out.
The Outfit's shooter-meets-strategy singleplayer gameplay on the Xbox 360 didn't mesh well with a lot of people but the World War II game was salvaged by a capable multiplayer mode. Now publisher THQ is adding to that experience with a multiplayer expansion pack available through the Xbox Live Marketplace.
The 12 multiplayer maps that came with the game are complemented by three more found in the first Outfit map pack, Collateral Damage, which is yours for a mere 500 Microsoft Points - about £5.
Like the original maps, the Luftwaffe Finale, Bleak Mile and Eagle's Nest maps are filled with destructible environments where you can battle online over Xbox Live. You also be able to earn Destruction on Demand - airdrops that bring you supplies or rain down destruction on your hapless foes.
