Guitaroo Man Takes the PSP on Tour
No guitars this time around but that doesn't mean you shouldn't have a look. First screens.
When you think of the PSP, rhythm games are hardly the first that spring to mind, but if Koei has its way that's all set to change. After an excruciating absence, the riff-throwing Guitaroo Man is back for another gig.
In Guitaroo Man Lives! you'll, obviously, no longer be able to use a guitar controller, so developer Inis, creator of cult hit Ossu! Tatakae! Ouendan for DS, is reworking the system to make "clever use" of the PSP's control possibilities.
You'll not only press buttons in tune to the throbbing songs but you'll also need to use the analogue stick to belt out solos.
Things have changed in the general game setup, too. This time you'll be able to team up with a second player for scorching duets using the PSP's WiFi capabilities.
There's no word yet on which songs will be included but Inis is promising a "playlist worth blowing your speakers for".
Guitaroo Man Lives! will be out for PSP this summer.
