DS Lite Rumbles in Style
Rumble, no rumble - we don't care. We just want to be able to buy the damn thing.
Nintendo has made no secret that the DS Lite is all about aesthetics. While the vanilla DS got the job done, its Panzer tank-like design left a lot of people wanting. Enter the sleek, oh-so-desirable DS Lite with its smaller dimensions and scorching screens.
But there's a problem. Play a game such as Metroid Prime Hunters that uses the rumble pack and the beautiful lines are savaged. The DS rumble pack fits into the Game Boy Advance cartridge slot but when used with a DS Lite you had to suffer the eyesore to satisfy your craving for agitation. Until now, that is.
Nintendo is putting out a new version of the DS rumble pack that ensconces itself in the innards of the DS Lite. The cart is only available in Japan right now - no surprise, considering the DS Lite has yet to officially be released outside the country - and only through the company's website.
There aren't all that many games that use the rumble pack at the moment. Some of the supported games include Metroid Prime Pinball, Mario & Luigi: Partners In Time and the aforementioned Metroid Prime Hunters.
