Battlefield 2 Expands With Fury
Armoured Fury, that is, which bring the fight against the Enemy that much closer. First panoramas.
With the seeds sown, America has come under attack by forces from China and the Middle East. But all hope is not lost. If the country is to overcome this threat, you're going to have to use your skills to see it off.
Battlefield 2: Armoured Fury is EA's latest tie-in to its successful, large-scale military multiplayer hit. Like its predecessors, the meat of this dish is the 64-player online play, which will be made more interesting by half a dozen more vehicles - three ground-attack aircraft and another three scout choppers.
Three new maps make up the bulk of the new content. These are set around the country, from Alaska and Washington, D.C., to the highways that criss-cross it.
As in the previous series entries, you're able to take part in the conflict at several levels. If what you want is the smell of hot lead, you can join a squad on the lines, but if you'd rather direct the action, you can play in Commander mode, pushing troops here and there to beat back the invaders.
Victory or defeat - it's up to you. Battlefield 2: Armoured Fury will be available through EA's downloader service starting Tuesday, 6 June.
