Pro Evolution Soccer 6 - New Screens
And some guy from Brazil gets a lot of money to have his face appear on the cover.
Say goodbye to Thierry Henry and hello to Inter Milan and Brazil striker Adriano, the latest cover star for Konami's surging Pro Evolution Soccer series. Adriano has been tapped by the company to be the face of Pro Evolution Soccer 6 for Europe when the game launches here in autumn.
The 24-year-old from Rio de Janeiro was understandably thrilled by the honour (and probably the money too) that comes with being the man in front for the game.
"I am really looking forward to working with Konami on what everyone knows to be the most realistic football game around," he said. "Pro Evolution Soccer 6 is known worldwide for its quality and I am delighted to be associated with such a fine series."
Pro Evolution Soccer 6 brings a few new features with it, including new off-the-ball moves and better strategy for the players.
In addition to the regular Xbox and PlayStation 2 versions, Pro Evolution Soccer is expanding this year, with the game coming to Xbox 360 and DS too.
