Gun Shoots on to the PSP
Neversoft brings its cowboy game to the PSP and adds some new stuff in the process. New screens.
Cowboys haven't been well represented in the video game arena so we gladly accept any new member into the fold. PSP owners will soon be able to don their spurs for the portable revision of recent Western game Gun.
Gun Showdown is said to feature a free roaming action-adventure, according to its handlers at Activision. The gameplay stays largely the same though five new missions have been added to extend the experience somewhat.
As is the norm with these PlayStation 2-to-PSP ports, wireless multiplayer has been added. These are all of the head-to-head persuasion and include deathmatch, last man standing and capture the flag styled modes.
The biggest draw to the original Gun was the storyline. Based on a more violent take on the West, the script, by Mask of Zorro writer Randall Johnson, takes you down a path of murder, betrayal and revenge.
