Assassin's Creed Jumping to PC, 360?
Unconfirmed reports say it is, but Ubisoft isn't coming clean yet.
There was a time when Sony could count on many third party exclusives for its consoles, but with rising development costs, many game makers are forced to take their projects to more than one system, simply to get the game out to as many people as possible. The latest game seemingly to fall into this class is the well-received action game Assassin's Creed.
According to unconfirmed reports out of the Interactive & Digital Entertainment Festival in Cannes, Ubisoft said its Third Crusade-set assassin simulator will not be exclusive to the PlayStation 3 but will be coming for Xbox 360 and PC as well.
It's possible that Sony has landed a timed exclusive, much like it did with the recent Grand Theft Auto games, giving it a time alone with the PlayStation 3 crowd before heading out to the other platforms.
Right now Ubisoft isn't talking and company representatives didn't get back to us when we tried to reach them for comment.
Check out the official Assassin's Creed site for more about the game.
