Call of Duty Devs Plotting Bond Game
All we've got to go on is a job listing, but things are looking up for Treyarch.
Earlier this year, Britain's favourite homegrown spy moved HQs, from EA to Activision, after EA decided not to renew its contract with Bond licence holders MGM and EON Productions. It seems that things are already getting underway on the first game for Activision if a recent job posting is to be believed.
Spider-Man and Call of Duty developer Treyarch has posted a listing looking for a gameplay designer for an unnamed title heading to unnamed platforms - though "next-gen" is suggested.
The developers at Treyarch, when they aren't stuffing their faces with free bagels on Friday mornings, have been making top-notch games of late, including Call of Duty: Big Red One and Ultimate Spider-Man.
An Activision representative confirmed to US site GameSpot that a game is coming but declined to comment further.
James Bond's next adventure at the movies is in Casino Royale. The film has taken some heat, too, mostly because of the blond locks atop leading man Daniel Craig's head. The movie is in production and will be in theatres on 17 November - probably too early for a simultaneous video game release.
