Samurai Warriors Strike Xbox 360, PS2
Koei's Chinese Japanese themed killing field bumped to the Xbox 360. Will you be able to tell the difference? Check out the new screens.
If you like the Dynasty Warriors series but you'd prefer it with more of a Japanese flavour, you'll want to check out Koei's latest big-battlefield-killfest for the Xbox 360 and the PlayStation 2.
Everything about Samurai Warriors 2 points to this being a bigger experience. The core gameplay, which is moulded on the Dynasty Warriors series, now comes with stupendous new attacks thanks to a tweaking of the so-called Musou gauge charging. You'll also face a bigger variety of enemies who are smarter and more adept at killing you.
Unanswered at this point is how much will set apart the two versions of the game - especially visually. We do know that the Xbox 360 edition will come with competitive multiplayer over Xbox Live. Co-operative play is, however, resigned to offline only.
Samurai Warriors 2 will be out this September. Check out Koei's official site for more information.
