Pac-Man and Lumines for XBLA Dated
Microsoft seems to be holding true to its goal of one game per week - for now.
The Xbox Live Arcade is still reeling from last week's release of Street Fighter II' Hyper Fighting, which became the fastest selling game on the service in its first 24 hours, but that's hasn't stemmed the influx of games.
Microsoft battled an unresponsive release outlook during much of this year, but over the past month or so, the output has been that much more consistent. Next up are a few new games and a few arcade classics.
Probably the biggest game in the near future is Rez creator Tetsuya Mizuguchi's Lumines Live!, which jumps from PSP to Xbox Live Arcade on 6 September, according to a list at British Gaming Blog via the Official Xbox Live Magazine.
Before that, though, there are a few true classics to look forward to, including Pac-Man and Konami's Time Pilot. Below is the list of games coming to the Xbox Live Arcade over the next month or so:
- 9 August: Pac-Man
- 16 August: Texas Hold 'Em
- 23 August: Time Pilot
- 30 August: Scramble
- 6 September: Lumines Live!
