Medal of Honor Heroes in Your Pocket
EA collects the heroes from its past Medal of Honor games for a new instalment on the PSP. First screens.
The PSP was less than a twinkling in PlayStation boss Ken Kutaragi's eye when Steven Spielberg started work on the Medal of Honor series for EA, but, seven years later, the two are on a collision course.
Encouragingly, Medal of Honor: Heroes (a temporary title) is a brand new game, but it still manages to keep a foot in the past thanks to its casting of past characters as leads.
You'll play as three past Medal of Honor heroes: Lieutenant Jimmy Patterson (Medal of Honor, Medal of Honor: Frontline) during Operation Market Garden in Holland; Sergeant John Baker (Medal of Honor: Allied Assault) in campaigns in Italy; and Lieutenant William Holt (Medal of Honor: European Assault) during the Battle of the Bulge in the Ardennes Forest.
Multiplayer is a big part of the experience, and EA is going all out. There are six modes and 15 maps for on- and offline multiplayer that support up to 32 players. You can choose from various series regulars, which you unlock during the main campaigns.
Medal of Honor: Heroes will be out on PSP later this year. Visit EA's site for more on the series.
