Gabriel Knight Author's Gray Matter
New adventure game coming from the woman behind one of the more popular series in the genre.
The mid-to-late 1990s were a time when PC game makers could still spin a yarn through the now-dead medium of the adventure game. One of the more popular at the time was the Gabriel Knight trilogy, which delved into voodoo and murder, drawing fans around the world in the process. Now that game's author is preparing a new adventure game.
Gray Matter is the first such game Jane Jensen has been involved in since the last Gabriel Knight game was released in 1999. Details are vague, but the new game's publisher, dtp, will host a press event at this month's Games Convention in Leipzig, Germany, to official unveil it.
It's clear, though, that the game is still early in development, as it's only expected to be out at the end of 2007.
Jensen will also be on hand at the show on 24 August, so bring along your copy of Gabriel Knight if you want to get it signed by the author.
