27 Playable PS3 Games at TGS
Sony preps a couple dozen reasons for you to start storing those pennies away.
The Electronic Entertainment Expo might not have gone quite the way Sony executives would have hoped for the PlayStation 3, but the company has another chance to make good before it pushes the system out, at the Tokyo Game Show.
Sony has raised expectations through a story on news service Reuters saying it would have 27 playable PlayStation 3 games at TGS - more than double what it had at E3 in May.
The statement was at least partly a move on Sony's part to temper some of the criticism its been taking since E3, about the PlayStation 3 hardware and some of its games.
"It doesn't necessarily mean everything is running according to plan," KBC Securities analyst Hiroshi Kamide told Reuters, "but it's good to hear some positive development concerning the PlayStation 3."
The precise line-up hasn't been revealed, but Sony has said that two of the playable games will be Namco Bandai's drift-heavy racing game Ridge Racer 7 and demon-slayer Dante's new adventure in Devil May Cry 4 from Capcom.
