EA Goes Retro for the PSP
If old games are what you want to play on your expensive portable and you haven't discovered emulation yet, EA has you covered.
So you've spent your hard earned money on a PSP and decked it out with a giant memory card, and now you're ready to play... old games? That seems to be the reasoning behind EA's decision to release a retro compilation of its own on the handheld.

Jungle Strike is just one of the 14 games included
EA Replay, as it's known, collects 14 games that stretch back more than a decade. Included are some of EA's bigger non-sports games, including classic franchises such as Road Rash and the helicoptertastic Strike series.
You'll be able to play cooperatively over WiFi with a friend, and all of the games let you save whenever you want, which should help those popping in Desert Strike for a quick sortie in between watching the real thing unfold on TV.
You'll notice a paucity of EA's popular sports games. EA didn't reply when we asked whether there's one coming. The company also declined to comment on what, if any, effect this would have on the possible release of some of the games (several of which were on the Genesis/Mega Drive) on Nintendo's Virtual Console.
EA Replay will be out for PSP this November in the US and likely soon after in the UK. Below is the full list of games included:
- B.O.B.
- Budokan
- Desert Strike
- Jungle Strike
- Haunting Starring Polterguy
- Mutant League Football
- Road Rash
- Road Rash II
- Road Rash III
- Syndicate
- Ultima: The Black Gate
- Virtual Pinball
- Wing Commander
- Wing Commander: Secret Missions
