TimeShift: Exclusive Gameplay Footage
Extensive Xbox 360 gameplay footage - looking hot!
In a market where people are always moaning about lack of innovation, one of the most popular game genres today - the firstperson shooter - still manages to come up with new ideas all the time. Both Prey and Portal (see Portal vids here) have cool new concepts, and now TimeShift is offering even more gameplay ideas that realy spice up the FPS canvas.
Marked by an epic, time-traveling narrative and cutting edge in-game physics, TimeShift introduces a never-before-seen approach in the genre by challenging players to manipulate time to bring down a totalitarian regime.
In the same way that Prey and Portal force gamers to think outside the box in terms of 3D space, TimeShift introduces new ways to achieve your goals by thinking about how to bend time to your advantage.
Sierra Entertainment and VU Games say they have really beefed up the quality of the title since obtaining the rights to publish it from Atari, and the devlopers told us they've now got a real 'AAA' product on their hands.
As you will see in these high quality videos with direct audio, it's far from a gimmick. We'll have more on TimeShift in our upcoming exclusive interview.
