Lost Planet Finds Game Show Award
Proof that Dead Rising is not the only good game coming from Capcom for the Xbox 360.
When Xbox 360 owners think of Capcom their thoughts will, perhaps naturally, wander to the shopping malls and zombies that constitute its newest hit, Dead Rising, which is out in Europe on Friday. But Capcom has other exciting stuff coming to the console too, including Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions, which has just earned itself a Best Of Show award.
More than 180,000 people traipsed through the massive halls of last month's Games Convention in Leipzig, but it was a handful of German journalists that ultimately picked Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions as their favourite game at the event.
Lost Planet: Extreme Conditions is set in an arctic world where aliens are running amuck. Capcom used Games Convention as a platform for unveiling the game's multiplayer modes.
If you're already an Xbox 360 owner, you can download a demo of the game from the Xbox Live Marketplace. If you're waiting to see how it turns out before buying one, keep an eye out for the game's release this winter.
