After Burner Locks On to PSP
We do not have the next-gen version yet, but Sega is prepping to roll out an After Burner for the PSP.
More than a year on, there's still little we know about Sega's upcoming next-gen After Burner game, but the company had something of a surprise for us today, announcing that the classic arcade franchise is coming to the PSP.
The new game, After Burner: Black Falcon, comes courtesy of Planet Moon Studios - the same people that let you sate your zombie lust in PSP thriller Infected.
After Burner: Black Falcon concerns itself with a dastardly villain who has made off with 13 top-secret military planes and it's up to you, naturally, to bring them back. Though the game is described as being arcade-like and action-rammed, you'll still be tethered to reality thanks to the inclusion of 19 real-life military planes.
In addition to the story mode, there are also a variety of co-operative and competitive wireless multiplayer options to consider.
After Burner: Black Falcon will be out for PSP next spring.
