Demo Splinter Cell With Friends on 360
You will have to wait a bit longer for the singleplayer stuff, but you can taste the versus stuff right away.
There's less than a week to go until Sam Fisher and his two-timing ways in Splinter Cell: Double Agent make it on to the Xbox 360, but you can get an idea of the multiplayer slice of the pie right now thanks a new demo on Xbox Live.
The 700 MB demo foregoes anything to do with the new story in Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which this time has Sam infiltrating the enemy to destroy them from within. Rather, the demo is concerned only with the updated multiplayer modes, where spies go up against other lithe spies or against brutish mercenaries.
Expectations are high for Splinter Cell: Double Agent, which already has more pre-orders in the US than Splinter Cell: Chaos Theory did, Ubisoft's Sam Saliba told Next Generation.
Splinter Cell: Double Agent will be out for Xbox 360 on 19 October, on GameCube, Xbox and PlayStation 2 on 26 October, and on PC on 2 November. You can find out more at Ubisoft's Splinter Cell site.
Keep in mind that Xbox Live will be down on Tuesday, 17 October, so get downloading now if you're interested in trying the demo out before then.
