Activision Names, Details Call of Duty PSP
Now you can bring war with you in this new PSP-exclusive series update. First screens inside.
If you've been avoiding the Call of Duty series because you wanted something more mobile, or you've played so much of the console and PC ones that you simply have to play another one soon (outside of the upcoming Call of Duty 3 for next-gen consoles), you'll want to make sure your PSP is in working order.
Call of Duty: Roads to Victory is a portable iteration of the popular World War II shooter that sticks closer to the formula made popular by the previous games in the series more closely than you might initially think.
More unique than the 13 battles that comprise the game are the three military men you'll be commanding. The American infantry solider and Canadian rifleman characters are new to the franchise, but you might notice something about the British paratrooper - a veteran of a previous series entry.
Don't make the mistake of considering this a mere cash in. Activision insists that the game has been built from scratch only with the PSP in mind, and there are even a few 4-to-6-player multiplayer modes to underline the assertion.
Interest piqued? Keep an eye out for Call of Duty: Roads to Victory when it swoops onto the PSP next spring.
