Time to make amends for missing out on this cult hit.
The hook in Dreamfall: The Longest Journey, according to the glowing reviews, is the story, something the people behind the PC game are hoping will be enough to get you to pay up after a taster.
Funcom put out a demo of Dreamfall on Wednesday that includes two chapters from the sci-fi adventure. The 3.5 GB download is available from all popular file hosting sites.
Dreamfall is the sequel to cult hit The Longest Journey and stars 20-year-old bioengineering student Zoë Castillo, who becomes entangled in a conspiracy that threatens her world and will take her into another.
The game was hailed for its strong characters and storyline when it came out last May, but for whatever reason it didn't sell as well as its makers would have hoped.
You can find out more about the demo and the rest of the game at www.dreamfall.com.
