Oblivion Expands to Shivering Isles
First details for Bethesda's full Oblivion expansion.
Hopelessly addicted Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion players accepted developer Bethesda's gift of update Mehrunes Razor with glee this Christmas but there's something even bigger coming this year: the first full expansion pack, Shivering Isles.
Forget about the 10 hours of content that will be included in the Knights of the Nine update for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3; Shivering Isles adds another 30 hours of stuff to do to the already massive adventure, according to an article in PC Zone by way of sister site CVG.
According to CVG, Shivering Isles brings all the usual stuff you expect from an expansion, including new areas, quests, monsters and rewards, and it will also feature dynamic regions that react to your actions there.
The titular Shivering Isles is a new area beyond Nibben Bay that is ruled by Sheogorath, "the god of madness and dementia", apparently.
Oblivion fans looking for more can expect to take delivery of the Shivering Isles sometime this spring.
