Europe Feels BioShock in June
Who said summer sucks for gaming?
Whether it's the suffocating environments of the underwater world gone mad or the disgustingly enchanting ambience that flows through early footage from the game, 2K's Xbox 360 and PC first-person game BioShock seems to have that certain something. No wonder it already has more than a dozen awards.
Earlier this week publisher 2K Games confirmed that the game would be out in June in the US, but it was not yet prepared to drop the European launch info. Whatever hesitance there was has subsided, and the company has said that the game will be out in Europe in June too.
BioShock is the spiritual successor to the critical darling System Shock series. It tells the story of a subterranean wonderful named Rapture that has gone terribly awry, as all manner of unimaginable monsters vie for Adam, the world's energy source.
The game has made a big impression already, nabbing accolades at the various trade shows it's been to. You can find out more about it by visiting www.BioShockGame.com.
