Call of Duty 3 Re-Invades Xbox Live
The bungled Valor maps are coming back to the Xbox 360 - hopefully functional this time.
Earlier this month Activision put out a trio of new maps for its World War II shooter Call of Duty 3. The Valor Map Pack should have slotted in easily, but when Xbox Live users began to complain that the download didn't work, Activision had no choice but to pull the update. Now the maps are back, and this time they should stick.
The Valor Map Pack (800 Microsoft Points) has five new maps that are playable only in multiplayer either online or through split-screen or system-link setups.
To get around the problems with the earlier download, you'll need to delete the old map pack and get the new version and a game update too. Don't worry - you won't be charged again.
