Rainbow Six: Vegas Breaches New Ground
New and rejigged maps and a couple of new modes coming to the Xbox 360 shooter soon.
Nearly three months after sending in the Rainbow Six team for its first Xbox 360 outing, Ubisoft is preparing an Xbox Live downloadable update with new maps and modes for Rainbow Six: Vegas.
The Rainbow Six: Vegas Player's Pack Red Edition comes with five multiplayer maps. Of these, three (Doscala Restaurant, Marshalling Yard and Roof) are new while the other two (Border Town and Killhouse) are relit versions of the ones already in the game.
There's some other stuff in the update too, specifically another two game modes. Assassination is exactly what it sounds like, tasking you with either protecting a targeted person or escorting him to safety. Total Conquest, on the other hand, has you capturing control points for a set amount of time.
Ubisoft hasn't mentioned how much the update will cost, but it is a premium download, so do make sure you have some Microsoft Points in the kitty. The Player's Pack Red Edition is due on the Xbox Live Marketplace at the end of March.
