Hotel Dusk Taking Reservations for April
Is this another DS game that will get lost in a morass of underexposure?
One of the better games at the launch of the DS was the overlooked adventure game Another Code: Twin Memories. Developer Cing eschewed compulsive action in Another Code for a more serene take on storytelling, and it did so with a few ingenious puzzles that used all of the DS. Now the creators are back with another adventure game for the system called Hotel Dusk: Room 215.
Heavy on story and lavished with a unique artistic style, Hotel Dusk thrusts you into the shoes of retired New York City cop Kyle Hyde. Kyle is stranded at a hotel one night and discovers things are definitely not what they seem as he becomes embroiled in a story involving his past.
The game was already released earlier this year in the US to rave reviews. European DS owners will be able to see for themselves what the fuss is about when the game arrives here on 13 April.
