Britney, Gorillaz Hit the SingStar Stage
SingStar for PS3 is where the tech is going, but this PS2 instalment is what's going to butter the bread.
PlayStation 3 owners may have pricked their ears at the recent showing of SingStar on the PS3 and how it would incorporate an online store for downloading songs, but fans of the series are more probably more interested in getting a new game without having to spring for a £400-plus console. Enter SingStar Pop Hits.
Following quickly on November's SingStar Legends, Sony has gone back to the pop music well for another 30 tracks to be included in SingStar Pop Hits, which is set for release on PlayStation 2 this April.
There are still some songs yet to be announced, but the line-up already includes sing-along favourites from U2, now-bald Britney Spears and Nelly Furtado.
