Final Fantasy XII Towers Over Crackdown
Another week on top for the heavily promoted RPG.
It's less surprising when games released on many systems rise to the top of the charts, but as Chart Track points out in its latest game ranking, sometimes the platform-exclusive games have their day.
This week there are no less than six games in the Top 10 that are out for just one system, but only one of them can lead. That game is Final Fantasy XII for the PS2, and it tops the chart for a second week running.
New this week is Sonic & The Secret Rings for the Wii, which trails EA's latest update to The Sims II. The chart also welcomes back Dr Kawashima's Brain Training, leading a charge of DS games on the chart.
The Top 10 games for the week ending 3 March, as determined by Chart Track, are below:
- Final Fantasy XII (Square Enix)
- Crackdown (Microsoft)
- The Sims 2: Seasons (EA)
- FIFA 07 (EA)
- Sonic & The Secret Rings (Sega)
- Pro Evolution Soccer 6 (Konami)
- Need For Speed: Carbon (EA)
- Dr Kawashima's Brain Training (Nintendo)
- The Sims II (EA)
- New Super Mario Bros (Nintendo)
