Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles on XBLA
Old-school heroes in a half-shell headed your way.
They may have been stripped of their Ninja status in the UK but that didn't make the Teenage Mutant Hero Turtles any less popular here. Of the many, many tie-ins to the popular cartoon series, gamers often look to the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles arcade games as one of the best. That same experience will soon be coming to Xbox Live.
Developer Digital Eclipse is working with Ubisoft to bring Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles to the Xbox Live Arcade later this month, IGN reports. All seven levels from the original arcade game are included, and this time you can team up with people not at the same cabinet but rather over Xbox Live.
The game backs up Ubisoft's push into the Turtles franchise. The company is readying a full next-generation Turtles game for most current systems later this month.
